Introduction：

History

        The Thai Packaging Association was  approved  by  the  Commerce  Department  to  initiate  the  association  on  December  26,  1969.  Formerly  it  had  the  English  name  as  The  Thai  Packaging  Association  or  T.P.A.  After  that  the  Japan  Packaging  Institute  was  informed  they  then    established  The  ASIAN  Packaging  Federation  and  invited  Thai  association  to  join.  Meanwhile  Thai  side  did  not  have  enough  funds  in  interacting  with  on  international  scale,  The  Industry  Supporting  Department  decided  that, the  design  center  should  be  a  member  of  ASIAN  Packaging  Federation  for  that  time  being,  where  any  activities  have  to  work  parallel  with  the  association  e.g.  The  ASIAN  Packaging  Award  that  Thais  was  one of  the  award  winner,  and  also  won  The  world  Packaging  Organization  Award,  London.  October,  1987  the  name  changed  to  “The  Thai  Packaging  Association”  and  located  at  the  current  address,  30  years  of  closed  corporative  between  government  sector  and  private  sector  under  support  of  business,  industrialist.  Currently  the  association  is  a  joining  member  of   The  ASIAN  packaging  Federation.

  1. The  ASIAN  Packaging  Federation  Symposium.
  2. Packaging  and  Printing  exhibition.
  3. Establishing  the  Thai  Printing  Federation
  4. Program  to  visit  Tokyo  Pack  and  Interpac.
  5. Flexor  @  Gravure  Conference  Seminar.
  6. Representing  in  the  International  Packaging  Training.

Objectives

  1. To  promote  the  related  or  concerned  packaging  enterprises.
  2. To  support  members  to  overcome  business’s  obstacles,  includes  the  negotiations  with  external  person  to  preserve mutual benefits among the  enterprises.  Monitoring  local  and  international  business’s  outlook  and  present  economic,  politic  information  and  country’s  security
  3. Research  and  exchange  useful  information  for  members.
  4. Statistical  recording.
  5. Quality  support.
  6. Laison  with  the  government  sector.
  7. Production  technology  support.
  8. Regulations,  Condition  and  good  practices  laying
  9. Compromise  any  argument  or  business  conflicts of any  members.
  10. No  intention  in  Snooker  business’s  hidden – agenda.
