Introduction:(The 38th International Food and Beverage Exhibition-FOODEX JAPAN 2013)
FoodEX JAPAN is the largest annual Food and Beverage tradeshow in Asia and has been a highly successful trade event since its debut in 1976 serving not only Japan’s $700 billion Food market but many lucrative Asian markets. Over 73,800 professional visitors attended FoodEX 2012, including over 6,500 from Korea, Taiwan, China, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
New Exhibitor Services provide exhibitors with unmatched opportunities to meet with key buyers and broker business deals:
• Pre-arranged Business Meetings – Over 1,500 meetings conducted with Japanese retailers, distributors and restaurant chains including: AEON, Tokyu Store, Sandy, CGC, Saizeriya…
• Importer Club – In Japan, all distributors, retailers, and Foodservice outlets must order imported Food products through a Japanese importer. If a Japanese retailer or distributor visits your booth or is interested in your products and you do not have an importer, the Importer Club provides access to importers who can facilitate business deals onsite.
• Export wine by the Pallet – Services are also available to support wineries without an importer in Japan. Overseas wines not yet available in the Japanese market will be showcased and sampled, with buyers able to purchase as little as one pallet!
Makuhari Messe is part of the International Convention Complex located in Chiba.
This facility is comprised of Halls 1-8 with a total of 54,000 square meters of exhibition space.
