    Welcome to Scotland's Speciality food Show 2012

    Welcome to Scotland’s Speciality food Show 2012. The show brings together 120 exhibitors offering the very best fine food products from Scotland, UK and overseas. The fair regularly attracts a thousand buyers from delicatessens, farm shops, speciality food retailers and food halls as well as providing an opportunity for gift shops to purchase food and drink products to complement their ranges sourced from the gift fair.

    The show is located and run concurrently with Scotland's Trade Fair in Hall 4 of the SECC in Glasgow.

    This is Scotland’s oldest and largest trade event servicing all kinds of gift buyers from Scotland and the north of England.

    With a wide variety of products including gift food, bakery, cheese, cooked and cured meats, chutneys, preserves, oil and vinegars, herbs and spices, confectionery, tea and coffee, beers, spirits and cordials, the fair is a must attend showcase for the speciality and gift food retailer.

    Scotland's Speciality food Show is managed by Springboard Events Ltd on behalf of Clarion Events Ltd.

    Scotland's Trade Fair, Spring 2012

    The show coincides with Scotland's Trade Fair Spring show, offering exhibitors the added attraction of over 5000 gift buyers, many of whom stock gift food and drink products in their outlets. This is an added bonus for all speciality food and drink producers seeking fresh markets.

    Planning your Visit

    Venue

    Scotland's Speciality Food Show takes place in Hall 4 of the Scottish Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in Glasgow.

    The SECC is the largest and best equipped exhibition facility in Scotland. It is located a mile West of Glasgow City Centre on the banks of the River Clyde.

    It has car parking for over 2000 cars and is a 20 minute taxi ride from Glasgow International Airport, the venue has its own railway station and is a couple of minutes drive from junction 19 of the M8 motorway.
    There are 3 hotels on site providing a wide range of facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. There are also a number of bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance.

    How Do I Get There?

    By Air

    SECC is a 20 minute taxi ride from Glasgow International Airport.

    By Train

    SECC has its own railway station 'Exhibition Centre' which is two stops on the low level from Glasgow Central Station.

    By Car

    There are 2000 car parking spaces at the SECC. Enter Glasgow on the M8 motorway and exit at Junction 19. The SECC is signposted from there. There is a £6 charge for parking.

    Where Can I Stay?

    There are three hotels on the exhibition site. The Crowne Plaza, The Mint Hotel and The Campanile. If you are planning an overnight stay in Glasgow during the show please contact The Room Centre, our accommodation partners. They have negotiated special rates for all these hotels, alternatively they can arrange accommodation in any hotel of your choice in Glasgow.

    Overseas Buyers Lounge

    Scotland's Speciality Food Show has an Overseas Buyers Lounge for your use. The Lounge offers you somewhere quiet to relax and take the weight off your feet. Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks, newspapers and free cloakroom facilities. Any overseas buyer is entitled to use these facilities by simply showing your overseas buyer badge to the lounge staff.
