展會簡介：AUSPACK開創于1970年，至今已經成功舉辦了15屆，每隔兩年輪流在雪梨和墨爾本兩地舉辦，在墨爾本成功舉辦了7屆，是澳洲唯一的國際包裝和加工機械博覽會,由澳大利亞包裝機械協會共同主辦. 澳大利亞包裝機械展上，將會有超過300個的展商其最新產品參展，該展將是澳洲最大的國際包裝博覽會，將會展示一流的包裝機械、紙品加工機械、材料、包裝、容器及相關零部件等最具代表的新展品。

澳洲國情簡介：澳洲地廣人稀，人口成長緩慢，近3年之人口平均成長率分別為1.36%、1.17%、1.22%。依據澳洲統計局（ABS）公布資料，全澳人口於2003年12月首度突破2000萬人，2009年6月總人口數已增加至2,162萬人，平均每平方公里人口密度約2.6人。 澳洲服務業貿易占貿易有顯著地位，依據澳外交貿易部統計資料，2007-08年澳洲服務業貿易成長11%，達到1,013億澳元，較上年度增加11.1%，約占全年度商品及服務出口之20.7%，其中，教育服務業（education service）僅次於煤礦及鐵礦為澳洲第3大之出口項目，2007-08年度金額達142億澳元，旅遊服務業（travel services）則係澳洲第5大出口項目金額達120億澳元；2007-08年度務業進口金額亦見增加12%，金額達500億澳元。

澳洲經濟近年來持續穩定發展： 由於全球化推波助瀾，全球經貿活動擴張，尤其在中國及東亞國家等若干澳洲主要出口市場之經濟持續增長下，對農礦原物料需求大增，使澳洲初級產業達近20餘年來前所未有之榮景，再加上澳洲人口增長快速、內需市場持續成長、國內消費增加、澳幣持續升值、低利率、低失業率及房地產價格持續上漲等多項利多因素，更增強澳洲經濟向上攀升之力道，即便在遭逢2008年全球金融危機之際，澳洲經濟受到之影響甚輕，亦為最早復甦之先進國家。據統計資料顯示，澳洲上（2009）年GDP達1兆2,079億澳元，平均國民所得高達55,103澳元，通貨膨脹率控制在2.1﹪之低水平，平均失業率僅5.59﹪，更屬已工業化先進國家中少見。觀注澳洲經濟尤需重視的是澳洲能礦業的影響力，澳洲礦產豐富與採礦技術更獨步全球，對GDP貢獻達8%，因國內需求有限，故主要為供應國際巿場，澳洲是全球煤礦第1大出口國，鐵礦僅次於巴西居全球第2位，此外黃金、原油及天然氣更蘊藏豐富，拜國際能源及原物料需求不斷攀升之賜，價格也節節上漲，為澳洲賺入數以百億澳元計之外匯，澳洲每年更藉操作交易價格，為澳洲取得優勢巿場地位。景氣提前好轉，澳洲儲備銀行遂於2009年10月成為全球第一個宣布升息的國家，至2010年3月止，澳洲已4度升息，利率回升至4%。

The superb central location of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre means it is easily accessed by the city's roadways, freeways, public transport and on foot. The City Link automated tollway connects the MCEC to the airport in just 20 minutes. The Centre is also serviced by six parking areas suitable for public, exhibitor and bus parking with additional parking available within walking distance of the centre.

Southern Cross and Flinders Street stations are both a short stroll from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Airport transfers

Skybus Super Shuttle is the official transit link between Melbourne Airport and the central business district. It departs every 15 minutes from Southern Cross station, a five-minute walk from the Centre.

Parking is available underneath the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre and also in adjacent car parks
