Chaucer Foods is Europe leading producer and supplier of Natural Mushroom Extract, which is used in a variety of prepared foods. These include liquid and dry soups, sauces, stocks and bases, doughs and pastas, as well as ready meals, both shelf-stable refrigerated and frozen. It also has dry spice and seasoning blend applications.

Chaucer Mushroom Extract is concentrated mushroom juice spray dried onto non-GMO low DE maltodextrin.

Natural Mushroom Extract provides a source of authentic, high quality mushroom flavour and aroma, similar to freshly cooked mushrooms, with strong impact and sustainability.

Natural Mushroom Extract also has effective flavour enhancing properties. This is because the amino acid profile of Natural Mushroom Extract is high in glutamic acid. Mushroom is a well-known source of naturally occurring MSG.

The extract main functions are to:

●Enhance the overall flavor of other ingredients with which it is used.

●Provide a fresh authentic mushroom taste and aroma.
