Corn starch

ALMEX Corn starch obtained from maize selected the highest industrial quality through modern processes and stringent quality assurance systems.

It is a polymer of dextrose, forming chains of amylopectin and amylose, the latter being found in smaller proportion, and which gives its characteristic typical starch gel formation to be cooked.

The Corn starch is a food grade product is extremely versatile offering many low-cost applications for different industries. Over several decades, the Corn starch has been positioning itself as a critical raw material:

Food industry ... It is widely used as a thickening agent, binder, stabilizer, gelling, drying and charging. We found it in salad dressings, mayonnaise, prepared foods, pie fillings, ready meals, cheeses, snacks, puddings, meat, baby foods, gravies, etc..
