Exhibition Instruction

The Beijing Olympic Games of 2008 were held successfully and the World Expo of Shanghai 2010 has begun to attract millions of people from all over the world. With these huge events, China has attracted more and more of the world’s attention. Although influenced by the global economic crisis, China has still developed rapidly and has become the most important driving force for the recovery and development of the world economy through its status as the largest manufacturing base and consumer market in the world.

 With the massive growth of China’s economy, China’s printing industry has also achieved an impressive status and become the focus of the global printing industry.  Since the economic policies of reform and openness began in 1978, the total financial turnover of China’s printing industry has increased from 4.8 billion RMB in 1978 to 515 billion RMB in 2009. China’s printing industry has continued its upward trend despite the adverse outward effects of global economics. China’s printing industrial GDP increased 7.8% in 2008 and 8.4% in 2009 respectively.

 The CHINA print 2009 Exhibition occupied a total show area of 110,000 square meters. Compared with CHINA print 2005, the show area increased by 20%. 1284 companies participated in CHINA print 2009. This figure demonstrates an increase by 30% compared with CHINA print 2005. 162,580 visitor entries were recorded by the entrance control system, demonstrating a significant increase from the 2005 Exhibition.

 The International printing Technology Exhibition of Guangdong (print China), and the companion show of Beijing’s International printing Technology Exhibition (China print), was established in 2007 with the intention of being held every 4 years thereafter. The 1st print China Exhibition, which was held from April 10-14 of 2007 in the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center, occupied a total show space of 80,000 square meters. 1,048 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions participated in print China 2007. The show also attracted more than 100,000 professional visitors from 72 countries and regions. With the successful organization of the 1st print China, the event has become one of the world-class international printing fairs.
 print CHINA 2011 will be held from April 9-13, 2011 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. The exhibition will occupy a total show area of 100,000㎡. It is estimated that over 1,000 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, attracting over 160,000 visitors to attend.

 The 2nd International Forum for printing Technology Development (Forum-PT 2011) will be held on April 8th of 2011 in the Hilton Hotel near the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center. The 4th China Fine Presswork Exhibition (China Presswork 2011) will also be held simultaneously with print China 2011.

 print China 2011 is expected to be another economic miracle in China’s printing industry. We heartedly invite exhibitors and professional visitors from the international printing industry to attend this grand gathering.

The printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) was founded in 1985. PEIAC is a multi-industrial and trans-departmental organization that conducts activities in the printing industrial arena. As a nationwide organization, PEIAC comprises enterprises industries engaged in the manufacture and operation, research and development, education and training, information consultation, selling and marketing of printing and printing equipment. It is not only an association for consumers (printers), but also for manufacturers (printing equipment). PEIAC is a non-profit social organization with more than 1,300 members.

The China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC) is subordinate to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC). It is also the chair member of the China Association for Exhibition Centers (CAEC) and member of the China Enterprise Confederation (CEC), the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM). CIEC has developed into a leading enterprise in the exhibition industry, with businesses ranging from venue management to show organization, overseas exhibition, stand construction, venue advertisement, exhibit transportation and other exhibition related services.

The printing and Replicating Industries Association of Guangdong (PRIAGD), founded in 1979, is a province-wide organization consisting of companies and institutions of printing, equipment, machinery, research and education. Working under the guidance of the Ministry of Press and Publication in Guangdong Province, PRIAGD forms committees related to planographic printing, embossing, screen printing, binding, equipment and appliance, prepress service, education and training, printing and packaging, enterprise management and alumni association of Shanghai Publishing and printing College. It is comprised of 400 group members and over 1,300 company members. PRIAGD is one of the most influential industry associations in South China, with abundant resources for buyers and professional visitors in the industry.

 print China Show Company is a joint-venture exhibition company of PEIAC, CIEC and PRIAGD. With the strong support of shareholders, PCSC aims to provide top quality exhibition and conference services to the China’s printing and related market based on its primary project, print CHINA.
 The company aims at the further improvement of the above-mentioned printing show by providing top-quality exhibition services, so as to provide greater support to the development of China’s printing industry.

Guangdong Province: China’s Economic Powerhouse
 print CHINA 2011 will be held from April 9-13, 2011 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. The exhibition will occupy a total show area of 100,000㎡. It is estimated that over 1,000 exhibitors will participate in the exhibition, attracting over 160,000 visitors to attend. The 2nd International Forum for printing Technology Development (Forum-PT 2011) and the 4th China Fine Presswork Exhibition (China Presswork 2011) will also be held during this period. The Guangdong province is the most developed economic area of China with the No.1 GDP in the nation. Guangdong has also become a significant printing center in the world, owning a grand total of 20,000 printing companies, which together represent one third of China’s total printing industrial GDP. Guangdong occupies the central position in the Pan-Pearl River Delta economic area comprised of 9 regions and the 2 Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, altogether contributing a total of 40,000 printing manufacturers, half of China’s total printing industrial GDP.
 Guangdong is also adjacent to the Southeast Asia region and in the core of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and will play a crucial role in future economic development of this geographic area.

 With the construction of the Beijing - Hong Kong high-speed railway, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen high-speed railway and the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen inter-city express, the core cities of the Pan-Pearl River Delta economic area will be connected within a one-hour transportation radius, and will be nicknamed the “One-Hour Economic Zone.”  The international Airports of Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau and Zhuhai will also serve to link this area to the entire world.

 The Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center is located in Dongguan, the shared suburb of Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and is the ideal place to hold an international industrial exhibition. World-class hotels with competitive prices surround the area and the wide roads around the Center allow for easy and quick access.

 print CHINA 2011 aims at building an international platform of communication to present the latest ideas, technology, products, and advanced equipment and to attract agents, customers and buyers from 5 continents to visit, communicate and purchase.

 Rental Space

1. The exhibition areas are divided according to distance from main entrance and main aisle. Section A is in the area near the main entrance and main aisle, and the location of Section B and C can be figured accordingly.
2. The space rental is quoted in RMB. For other currencies please refer to the exchange rate when the participation contract is signed.
3. The minimum rental space is 36m² of raw space, while that of a standard booth is 9m².
4. The Construction fee for a standard booth is RMB 75/m².
5. A 5% discount of space rental (raw space) is offered to exhibitors who sign the participation contract with deposit before June 30, 2010.
