First established in 1976, the company initially produced silica humidity absorbers for wooden items, medicine and shoes. As Taiwan was major shoe manufacturer in those years, humidity absorbers for footwear accounted for most of the company's revenues. By 1986, the rising value of the New Taiwanese Dollar and increasing costs saw shoe orders migrate to less developed nations. Some shoe factories went out of business while others went overseas... The company was faced with declining sales, collection difficulties or buyers going bankrupt. There was no choice but to find new markets. At the time, we concluded that food was an industry that would never be obsolete, so this was the way to go. This was how we began researching products for keeping food fresh.
Our company's products are widely used in the food industry, the electronics industry, the agricultural produce processing industry, the hardware industry, the footwear industry, the leather industry, the mechanical industry, the medical industry and the wood industry.
We also export to Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Asia. We believe in advanced technology and quality first; and we provide food-grade products that are guaranteed to offer the most anti-oxidation, anti-bacterial, cooling, anti-odor, anti-dampness and moisture absorption effect.
In 1995, we made several visits to China. We were reluctant to invest in China, however, due to our friends' experiences and political considerations. After much soul searching, we concluded that Chinese products would inevitably become a threat in Taiwanese markets. If weremained in the dark on our competitors, their products, their quality and prices, we would be sitting ducks. After many years of study and to protect the parent factory in Taiwan, we finally established a presence in China in 2001.
