With the underground train system, you can reach the New Munich Trade Fair Centre from the city within 20 minutes. The U2 line runs in 10 minute-intervals (during big fairs, every 5 minutes) to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre (station "Messestadt West").
Tickets from Hauptbahnhof, Main Railway Station, or Ostbahnhof, Munich Railway Station East, to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre (station "Messestadt West"):
Single fare: 2 sections of the blue multi-journey ticket (11.50 €) or regular single ticket (2.40 €)
You can buy public transport tickets at the ticket-vending machines or the ticket windows at the relevant station.
If you travel to the trade fair centre by car, traffic control signs in the suburban districts and the whole of the urban area will guide you to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre / ICM.
